The Niisaachewan Anishinaabe Nation is currently looking to hire a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to fulfill the position of Homemaker.
Responsibilities
- To provide an appropriate level of service to all clients
- Maintain accurate records for each client
- Respecting the confidentiality of all clients
- Respecting beliefs, value and property of all Elders
- Meal Planning and preparation of special diets
- Laundry
- General housekeeping duties
- Assist with shopping
- Basic personal hygiene
- Social contact, visits, daily check ins
- Assist clients to schedule and administer their own medications
Qualifications
- Ability to speak and understand Anishinaabemowin is considered an asset
- Must live a healthy lifestyle
- Updated First Aid & CPR
