Enter to win a free science trip to Winnipeg, Manitoba between March 25 and March 27, 2020!
Only 10 lucky winners will be chosen and travel to Winnipeg, MB for 2 nights with a full day of science based activities at the Winnipeg Museum of Man and Nature and Planetarium. Complete with evening activities as well!
Students can win by creating a short video or photo-voice project on a local community issue impacted by Climate Change.
Eligibility:
All applicants must be:
- a Treaty #3 community member
- attending a middle or high school in Treaty #3
- between the ages of 15-21yrs
How to Enter:
Create a short video or photo-voice project about 60-90 seconds long about how you would help your community in fighting the effects of one of the following challenges: Climate Change or Water Health.
All videos must include details of the impact the issue has on the community and at least ONE idea for a sustainable solution.
Some possible subthemes:
- Climate Change: weather events & patterns, impacts on community infrastructures, ecosystem disruptions, or human health.
